According to a well-known data miner and leaker, billbil kun, The Outer Worlds 2, a very much anticipated action RPG and a sequel to the very popular The Outer Worlds from 2019, will get its release date and preorder bonuses right after the game's standalone presentation on Sunday's Xbox Direct.
Xbox Direct is bound to happen on June 8, and Obsidian Entertainment will have its own time to present the upcoming The Outer Worlds 2. Billbil Kun claims that the game won't be shadowdropped, as others hope for, but right after the presentation, The Outer Worlds 2 will get the preorders unlocked along with preorder bonuses.
Billbil kun goes even further and claims that he knows which bonuses will be available if we preorder The Outer Worlds 2. According to him, if you decide to preorder the game, you'll be getting the “Commander Zane Battle Pack”. This pack includes Zane’s uniform armour, an Ed company drone, and Zane’s pistol and dagger.
If you don't know who "Zane" is, fret not; you're not the only one. According to this leaker, Zane is a new character in the Outer Worlds universe that will be showcased during the presentation on Xbox Direct on Sunday.
Apart from the preorder bonuses, we'll get The Outer World 2's release date as well, and we can only hope the game will be released sooner than later. However, considering that Obsidian Entertainment released a major title, Avowed, earlier this year, perhaps The Outer Worlds 2 will wait a bit more, but you never know.
In any case, once the game is out, it will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and it will be a part of the day-one release policy for all Game Pass subscribers.
