Obsidian have today released a new patch for their great action RPG Avowed with some new features, bug fixes and improvements to the gameplay experience.
The most notable additions include more talent points, walk toggle on PC, additional HUD customisation options, third-person FOV slider and high contrast documents among other things.
The devs also confirmed that they've fixed several quest-related bugs which prevented players from completing specific quests. You can check the official patch notes on Obsidian's website here.
Furthermore, Obsidian revealed some pretty exciting news regarding the future of Avowed for the rest of 2025. The dev team stated that they will share a full roadmap within the next few weeks, which would include some of their plans for the game.
This could suggest we're getting something bigger than just new features and bug fixes. Why would Obsidian bother with the roadmap if they don't have anything substantial, like DLC, in the pipeline?
A potential DLC for Avowed makes me really excited since I've genuinely enjoyed my time with Obsidian's RPG. I've spent over 50+ hours exploring the gorgeous regions and DLC that could feature new locations, story bits and potentially romance sounds amazing.
But of course, that's just my wishful thinking and there's nothing officially announced from Obsidian.
