A new game from 2K and Visual Concepts has been announced: Lego 2K Drive, a racing game with a very high budget and equally high prices.
The developers "guilty" of the NBA 2K and WWE 2K games, 2K Games and Visual Concepts, have announced a new high-budget racing game set in the Lego world called Lego 2K Drive. What's even better news is that we won't have to wait long to play the game, as it should be released on May 19, 2023.
Lego 2K Drive will be an open-world AAA racing title with both singleplayer as well as multiplayer modes in which the players will build their own vehicles from over 1,000 Lego pieces available, participate in various races, find collectables, and destroy the environment. There will also be cars from LEGO City, Creator, Speed Champions, McLaren Solus GT, and F1 LM in the game.
Competitive multiplayer will support up to six players, and there will also be a co-op driving mode. The split-screen mode will allow the players to compete on the same system. The game should also contain some sort of story mode.
The most interesting part about Lego 2K Drive, however, could be its price. Since the game is a high-budget title, the price range will vary from $69.99 for the standard edition to an unbelievable $119.99 for a special edition called the Awesome Rival Edition. Apart from those two editions, the players will be able to buy the Awesome Edition as well, which will cost $99.99.
Lego 2K Drive will be a multiplatform game, and once it is out, it will be available for PlayStation 5 , PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , Xbox Series X|S , PC , and Nintendo Switch .
