The new MotoGP series features dynamic changes in weather conditions as well as a refreshed career mode with a fictitious social network.
Milestone has finally released an announcement trailer for this year's instalment of their popular MotoGP series after months of waiting and wondering what's going on with MotoGP 23. Unfortunately, the players will have to wait a little longer than usual this year.
The new edition's main theme will be the rivalry between the rookie and the reigning driver, which will be presented in a modified career mode. Thus, the game will have a fictitious social network where rivals can argue and where you can see how the media and fans perceive your successes and failures.
The main difference will be the addition of dynamic weather conditions. There will be showers and rain on the track during the race, so tactics will have to be adjusted accordingly.
Support for cross-play, i.e., playing multiplayer independently of the platform, will also be a new thing. However, cross-play will only be available in the PlayStation and Xbox console versions, not the PC or Nintendo Switch, which is surprising given the game's popularity, particularly in the PC version.
Since this is the official MotoGP game for the 2023 season, all of the riders and teams are fully licensed in-game, as with previous MotoGP titles. MotoGP 22 featured more than 120 official riders from the 2022 season, and we anticipate a similar number for MotoGP 23.
MotoGP 23 arrives on June 8, 2023, in versions for PC , PlayStation 4 , PlayStation 5 , Xbox One , Xbox Series X|S , and Nintendo Switch .
