Apart from many main and side quests in Where Winds Meet, many small quests with their small stories await you throughout the world, making the world of this MMO action RPG from NetEase Games the one that feels really alive.
Those small stories are called Wandering Tales, and if you open the in-game journal, you'll see that one entire section is dedicated to them, called by the same name, Wandering Tales. While main and side quests in this game are followed through quest markers, wandering tales let you explore and find stuff without the involvement of the game, meaning that you'll need to explore on your own.
A wandering tale called Charm Pouch is the one you'll come across while exploring the Halo Peak area, and this small quest will require you to find and bring three money pouches to Aunt Guo. Here is how to solve this quest.
Quest location
This wandering tale is located near Halo Peak. This area is located directly to the west of the Sundara Land Wayfarer location. Once you activate a teleportation stone here, go up the stairs and look slightly to the right; just next to the road, you'll notice Aunt Guo searching for something. Talk to her to gain the first quest clue.
Where to find moneybags
- The first moneybag
Go to the hilltop where the big pagoda is located and look around the area. You'll notice a small hill with lots of Buddha statues and a huge tree. Behind those statues is a shrine. Once near the shrine, employ the Wind Sense and notice a pressing plate slightly to the left of the shrine.
Use the Mighty Drop skill to jump on the plate and activate it; this will open the shrine door. The first moneybag is inside the shrine, right next to a small chest.
- The second moneybag
The second bag is located inside the bear cave near the waterfall (see the map below). Next to this cave is a bear you'll have to either fight or avoid. The cave is covered in vines, so use the fire arrows to get rid of them. Once you enter the cave, loot the chest if you want and grab the bag that lies on the ground to the left of the chest.
- The third moneybag
The moneybag number three lies on the ground inside the nearby enemy camp (see the map below for reference). You'll have to clear the camp of the enemies or steal the bag – your choice. In any case, the bag lies on the ground, and since it's very small, it can be easily overlooked. Use the Wind Sense to spot it.
Wrapping up the quest
Once you have all the bags, return to Aunt Guo and speak to her. Give her the items, and after conversing with her, she will walk away, leaving you with one more wandering tale and its rewards added to your finished collection.
Speaking of rewards, this wandering tale quest, like all others, will reward you with both Echo Jade and Coin currency, exploration points, and experience points.
