The Jade Trait is one of the easiest combinations to learn in Teamfight Tactics. Some may believe that Jade troops are weaker, yet this is not the case. The Jade trait is popular right now, and you can see it in every game.
Because Jade units are available at lower levels, a Jade team composition is ideal for someone who is new to the game and is unsure what to create. The main carry is Shi Oh Yu, alongside Sy'fen. Riot made these dragons a 7-cost threat to all of the boards. Basically, they don't have a counter.
The best augment to play is Jade Crest. This counts as having additional Jades in your team, and this means you can have more Jade statues more quickly! In each combat, allies adjacent to a statue gain Attack Speed and maximum Health healing every 2 seconds. When a statue is destroyed, it deals 33% of its Health as magic damage to nearby enemies.
Items you want to build on your Shi Oh Yu are Bloodthirster, Edge of Night, and Hand of Justice. Alongside the Jade statues, the healing is going to be through the roof. At 9 Jades, you get the maximum healing!
- 3 Jades: 1 statue, +2% healing, +10% Attack Speed
- 5 Jades: 2 statues, +3% healing, +22% Attack Speed
- 7 Jades: 3 statues, +5% healing, +55% Attack Speed
- 9 Jades: 4 statues, +8% healing, +88% Attack Speed
Your main tank should be Jayce, but he also works well with AP items. This is great because Shi Oh Yu is Attack Damage dealer, so you need some Ability Power in your comp as well.
However, with the Jayce changes, he benefits more from AP items so items would be Archangel’s Staff, Rabadon’s Deathcap, Jeweled Gauntlet, Morellonomicon.
