Keeper might be one of the simplest games I have had a chance to play, maybe even ever. This game from Double Fine Productions and Xbox Game Studios is a puzzle adventure in which your main goal will be exploration and solving puzzles, but why? That's a mystery few will be able to give an answer to.
However, the important part that interests us the most is the puzzles and how to solve them, and in this guide, we will tackle the first one that might pose at least a bit of a challenge, and that's the puzzle involving clockwork gears and three levers.
If this puzzle is giving you trouble, in this guide, we will bring you the solution to it, so without further ado, let's get into it.
The clockwork gear puzzle solution in Keeper
After wandering a bit through the underbelly of the first level in Keeper, you'll eventually come across a wall with three sets of gears and two paths next to it.
To solve this puzzle, you'll have to take both paths, so tackle them in any order you like. After taking the left path, you'll come to the wall featuring a lever you can send the twig on. Do that, and once the twig grabs the lever, follow the path to reach the end with it. Once you do, the bird will grab the lever.
Do the same thing on the path located to the right, and then return to the wall with the gears. Set the lever into any of the gears, and the image next to it will appear. Rotate the lever until the extension on the image reaches the central image, and then release the lever by pressing the B button; once that happens, your controller will vibrate slightly, provided you play the game with a controller.
Do that with all three gears, and the wall will rise, clearing you the path forward. If you don't know how the images should be positioned, check out the image above.
