Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a game with a plethora of mysteries and secrets, and it is quite obvious that this aspect of the game was the priority for Machine Games—to make it as similar to the movies as possible and to make us immersed in the game totally.
Unfortunately, as you progress through the game, those mysteries are becoming less interesting and, say, less challenging, but from time to time, some will emerge and make you think a bit harder to understand and solve them.
One such mystery called Cloud Atlas awaits you in Gizeh, the second large area of the game, where you must figure out the code for the chest inside the weather station by combining the contents of two documents. If you're having trouble solving this puzzle, we have a solution for you in this guide.
How to find a code for the chest inside the weather station in Gizeh
As with all the other mysteries in the game, you will have to find a guide that will reveal their locations, and this guide can be bought from the merchant inside Gizeh Village for £350.
Following the objective marker to this mystery will lead you to a small station guarded by three Nazis—if you wear the worker disguise, two regular Nazis won't bother you, but the commander who patrols close to the chest will. Make your way inside the building and pick up two documents, then get rid of the commander when he exits the building; the other two will not get alerted this way.
Once the commander is down, check out the documents, and you'll see that they are full of some data concerning the types of clouds appearing on different dates.
On the Cloud Atlas Page document, you'll see four dates written on the bottom of the page. Memorise those dates and pull out the Cloud Status Logbook, another document you pick up from the table. In this document, cross-reference the dates with the names of the clouds. Some of the dates will be smudged, but since they're sorted by date, you can figure out whick dates are missing.
Now, when you know which clouds appeared on the mentioned dates, pull out the first document again and see which numbers correspond with which cloud name. If you did it correctly, the number should be 0609, which is the code for the chest.
