Indiana Jones and the Great Circle officially launches tomorrow at midnight between Thursday and Friday (UK time) and pre-load for the game is now live across all platforms.
The game weighs in at a whopping 113 GB which is quite a lot, especially if you don't have a super fast internet that is capable of downloading such sizes in a few hours.
Therefore, everyone who is eagerly anticipating this Bethesda title is also eager to start downloading as soon as possible to play the game once it unlocks. For PC players on the Xbox app, pre-load sometimes can be broken so you'll have to start it manually.
It's an annoyance more than a complicated process since one would expect the app to start the pre-load as soon as it's available but it is what it is. Here's how you can manually start the pre-load for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PC.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PC pre-load explained
As we said, it's fairly simple so just follow these steps below and you'll have it done in no time:
- Go to the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle page in your Xbox PC app
- Click on the three dots button near the "Choose Edition" button then click "Manage"
- Then go to the "Files" tab and click the "Check for Updates" button
- The app should now ask you if you want to pre-load the game
Obviously, before you do any of these steps, you have to click on the green "Pre-Install" button so the app knows you want to pre-load this game but I think you already figured out that one.
Anyway, we hope this guide was helpful and your game is now pre-loading so you can enjoy it in just over 35 hours when it unlocks for those with the early access Premium Edition.
The launch of the standard edition of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming on December 9, 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. A PlayStation 5 version is also coming sometime in Spring 2025.
