The immortal bird Phoenix is in Hogwarts Legacy but you won't be able to find it in the wild like other magical animals.
Hogwarts Legacy does many things right but exploration and worldbuilding are certainly its greatest strengths. The Wizarding World is packed with countless magical beasts, animals, dungeons and puzzles and some players may find it a bit overwhelming at first.
We hope to help you with that with our Hogwarts Legacy guides series and in this one, we'll show you where to find Hogwarts Legacy's rarest magical animal - The Phoenix bird.
So without further ado, let's go searching for this stunning animal.
Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix quest and location
To find Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy, you will have to start a quest called Phoenix Rising. You can start this quest by talking to Deek, who is an elf that resides in your Room of Requirement. Deek will inform you of a rumour that there's a Phoenix somewhere in the nearby mountains.
Simply follow the quest guide to the Phoenix Mountain Cave in the Highlands region. We won't spoil the quest here but it won't be without combat so ready your best damage spells.
Once you rescue Phoenix, you'll bring it back to the Room of Requirements and can groom and feed the bird for Phoenix feathers, a valuable item for upgrading your equipment.
And that's a wrap-up on our Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix guide. If you find this one helpful, check out more Hogwarts Legacy content below.
