Mounts in Hogwarts Legacy are very useful to travel across large distances quickly and you'll also look super cool riding these magical beasts. Here's how many mounts are in the game and where you can find them.
Long-awaited Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy is finally here, bringing us a massive magical open world to explore. You've probably learned by now that traveling stunning open worlds like the one we have in Warner Bros. Games RPG can be a very relaxing and mesmerisng experience, especially if you have the right mounts.
Luckily, Hogwarts Legacy does have some great tools for traveling across the map including your broom and mounts. Speaking of the latter, Hogwarts Legacy allows you to ride only three magical animals - Hippogriff, Graphorn and Thestral.
Before you actually get to ride them, you'll need to finish some quests like The High Keep one with Natty or a very late story quest for Graphorn, so let's explain in detail how to get these and where.
Hogwarts Legacy Hippogriff mount location
You'll get white Hippogriff mount once you finish The High Keep quest with Natty. At the end of the questline, both you and Natty will escape riding two Hippogriffs, and you'll get to keep yours magical animal named Highwing.
You can also find this half eagle half horse beast across the Wizarding World. One of the location where you can rescue Hippogriff is in the very heart of Forbidden Forest. Here's the exact location on the map.

However, if your Arachnophobia won't let you go to this spider-infested region, you can also find Hippogriff near Feldcroft village, which is located Southwest on the map, just below a massive mountain range.
Keep in mind that you can't mount Hippogriffs you find in the wild but you can add them to your Vivariums in The Room of Requirment.
Hogwarts Legacy Graphorn mount location
Graphorn is an absolute unit and is very useful for smashing large groups of enemies thank to its charge attack. Graphorn can't fly though as his is a land beast. You can find this magical mouint in Highlands region, at the very end of the map. Here's the exact location on the map.
You won't be able to mount Graphorn unless you've wrapped up a late game story quest called San Bakar's Trail.

So there you have it. These two beasts are the only magical mounts in Hogwarts legacy. Yes, it's a shame we don't have more
Hogwarts Legacy Thestral mount location
Thestral mount Sepulchria is exclusive to Deluxe Edition owners of the game but if you own the Standard Version, you can buy it separately as a DLC. You can also find Thestrals in the wild, and one of the locations is far north, close to the end of the playable area. Here's the map:
