Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has introduced a new storyline surrounding the Greek Realm and Olympian Gods. Aside from the latest Greek POIs, Epic Games has also brought in Zeus, Hades, Artemis, Poseidon, and Cerberus with the new Chapter 5 Season 2 battlepass.
While most Greek Gods are available through the new Battle Pass, fans have been curious about the absence of the Greek God of War, Ares. In a turn of events, Epic has decided to change the method of obtaining Ares in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. Here's how you can easily unlock Ares in Fortnite.
How to Unlock Ares Skin in Fortnite
The Ares skin is set to be a part of the new April 2024 Fortnite Crew pack. The new pack will be available on March 31, 2024, by purchasing a Fortnite Crew Subscription. To be eligible for the April 2024 Fortnite Crew Pack, the Fortnite Crew Subscription must be purchased before April 30, 2024. The Fortnite Crew Subscription is available for $11.99/ €9.99 monthly and can be cancelled anytime after payment.
Since the introduction of the Fortnite Crew Subscription, Epic has added exclusive skins for their members to provide them with a reward, including the new Ares skin. While Epic Games mentioned that Fortnite Crew Skins are not exclusive and might return later, there have been no instances of previous skins returning. So, we expect the Ares skin to be exclusive to Fortnite Crew members until Epic adds it to the in-game store.

Considering the subscription price and the content you receive, we recommend going for the Ares skin if you want to, as you can cancel the Fortnite Crew Subscription next month. However, if you pass on the Ares skin, you can wait until Epic adds the outfit to the in-game store with additional styles.
