Fortnite players who redeem a V-Bucks card purchased in eligible countries between March 18 and April 14, 2024, will unlock the exclusive Midnight Scythe Pickaxe as a special digital reward.
V-Bucks are an in-game currency used in Fortnite. V-Bucks can be used to purchase things like outfits, pickaxes, wraps, emotes and Battle Passes.
Players in Australia, Japan, and New Zealand can redeem their V-Bucks card starting March 19th. All you need is a valid Epic Games account and a V-Bucks card. Only one Midnight Scythe Pickaxe will be given per account.
One thing to note here is that this weapon is not available in every country. Only players from the following countries can redeem it:

- Belgium
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- Ireland
- Italy
- Japan
- Netherlands
- New Zealand
- Portugal
- Spain
- United Kingdom
- United States
Unfortunately, if your country isn't listed above, you won't be able to participate in the Epic Games promotion. If you miss out on this opportunity, don't worry, as it may become available later in the Fortnite Store.

How to Redeem a V-Bucks Card?
Redeeming a V-Bucks card is straightforward. You just need an Epic Games account. Visit the Fortnite Redeem Page and follow the simple instructions provided.
Using a gift card incurs no fees, and there are no expiration dates associated with it. However, V-Bucks themselves are not considered e-money or any other form of currency and can only be used in accordance with Fortnite's rules.
And lastly don't forget that this promotion for the free weapon in Fortnite runs from March 18 to April 14, 2024 and can't be availed beyond that unless Epic Game decides to extend the offer.
