After you have completed the Tidying Up quest, Eddy gifts you a fishing rod he wants you to catch a fish for him. Use the scroll wheel or L1 and R1 to equip the fishing rod and use your mouse or sticks to aim cast by right-clicking or clicking the square button near a fish (the longer you hold the further the cast).
Once the fish is facing the rod you want to jiggle the cast so the fish latches on. Do this by right-clicking or clicking the square button. Once the fish is on, you want to tug slowly on the line and be careful not to snap the line because then you can lose the fish.
Do this while he's facing away from you, if he's facing towards you you want to hold right-click or press the square button down to reel in that fish and catch it. Once you've caught your fish head back to Eddy where hell give you more task to follow. The next quest is "Friend to the Critters".
