Finding Christmas Lights in Echo Generation is essential for the continuation of the story. The item will first grant you access to the Treehouse but also open up the way into the Cornfields.
Echo Generation is set in a small township called Maple Town, and the kids there spend their summers playing around in treehouses. One exceptional treehouse, however, holds many interesting secrets and one vendor. The girl in the treehouse sells all kinds of health-restoring consumables but also one item that's very important for the continuation of the story.
The price of admission into the treehouse in question is a string of Christmas Lights. The conundrum is as follows: it's currently summer in the game so all Christmas lights are put away in basements.
Finding Christmas Lights in Echo Generation
After talking to the treehouse lookout, you can continue going right on Maple Road. After beating some street racoons in hand to paw combat, just carry on going right and you'll find yourself in a new area with one busted-up trailer and Mr Billy's Repair Shop.
You can avoid fighting the huge Rat Wolfs by going around them through the shop's yard (you'll also find some money there) but I suggest you stan your ground and fight for the additional XP. You can always pop back home for a quick nap before continuing your quest.
After defeating the huge rats, enter Billy's Shop and go behind the counter. The combination for the safe is "3122". Proceed to the shop's basement where you'll find some food, a new comic book and your very first boss - a big, creepy-looking animatronic doll. Defeating the doll will have some happy results: first, it will reward you with the Christmas Lights needed to enter the treehouse, but also open your path towards the Cornfields.
