Xur is back for another round of Exotics in Destiny 2 and the Guardians fresh out of the grave might want to check what he has in store for them.
Xur's location on March 5, 2021
You can find Xur in Winding Cove, EDZ. To get to him, go to the aforementioned waypoint, turn left and go until you reach the fork in the road.
Take the path to the right and follow until you reach the crashed Fallen ship. At that point you can either go through the cave or climb the rocks.
You will spot Xur as soon as you reach the ledge but you might need to fight off a Dreg and a couple of Shanks beforehand.
Xur's weapon and armour, March 5, 2021
- Often bugged, this Fusion Rifle is a nightmare for Bungie's programmers. However, its projectiles tick on targets and explode after a brief period of time, providing endless fun while clearing minor enemies. It has decent damage for chunkier targets and can pop Guardians at slightly longer ranges than other FRs.
- Hunters are probably not going to be excited for this Exotic since there are so many better options. It has some usefulness in PvP since it can track enemies behind walls, provided you shot them, but the damage bonus almost never helps out due to low HP threshold.
- Mk.44 Stand Asides
- Shoulder charging Titans can use these for the faster cooldown on their melee ability along with an overshield that might save them from shotgun blasts on some occasions. Dunemarchers are still a superior choice.
- Phoenix Protocol
- Warlocks won the lottery this week. This is one of the best PvE Exotics since this chest piece will return Well of Radiance Super energy for each kill and assist you make while standing in it. More wells means a happy fireteam all around.
