Cyberpunk 2077 expansion called Phantom Liberty is finally out and as expected it's a proper eye candy that will use every bit of power your PC has. The new district called Dogtown packs even more detail than the base game as it's exclusive to next-gen, showcasing just how good the game can look when its not held back by last-gen consoles.
Anyway, since Phantom Liberty is very intensive on the GPU, you probably want to tweak the graphical settings to get more performance and reach that 60 FPS sweet spot.
The optimised settings below are from tech channel Hardware Unboxed, who made a great job of explaining every setting in detail so definitely check their video for all the information. But if you'd like a TL; DW version, read on below.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Best PC settings

When it comes to ray-tracing, well, you'll lose plenty of performance by enabling even just one ray-traced effect. However, if you're really keen on using it, stick to the options below to at least save some performance.
- Reflections: On
- Sun Shadows: Off
- Local Shadows: On
- Lightning: Medium or Off
So there you have it folks. With these settings, you'll be able to get around 40 per cent more performance in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. You'll notice that we didn't even mention the path tracing option, which requires at least 4070 Ti. Honestly, if you're looking for the optimised settings, you probably don't even intend to use this experimental option anyway.
