Upgrading your health and mana in any action RPG game is of utmost significance as many fans of this genre will tell you. In Blasphemous 2, it's no different.
Having two massive bars in the top left corner is what you should be aiming for in this dark fantasy title, as upgraded Health and Fervour will keep you alive longer and help you slay enemies faster, respectively.
In Blasphemous 2, you can upgrade your Fervour several times, but the game won't tell you that right from the get-go. In fact, the NPC that will upgrade your Fervour can be easily missed so here's a guide that will help you find this NPC and explain how you can increase your Fervour once you find them.
Blasphemous 2 Fervour upgrade/increase
To increase your Fervour, you will need to go to the area called Streets of Wakes. It's a Victorian city-themed are with several enemy types, including the flying coffin spirits, which can deal significant damage with their spear.
Streets of Wakes is located right of the Profundo Lamento. You can get to Streets of Wakes by giving the carriage NPC in Choir of Thorns a Forgotten Tribute. The carriage will then take you to a secret location in Profundo Lamento from where you can access Streets of Wakes.
The Fervour NPC in Streets of Wakes that you're looking for is in fact a large white hand. Below is the location of the NPC in Streets of Wakes.
Once you get there, give the NPC an item called Fervour Kiss. You should already have a couple of these in your inventory if you explored the world. You'll notice that the description states that this is a clothing item used for cleaning your hand after kissing. For each given item, the hand will increase your Fervour bar.
