Blasphemous 2 is one of those games that doesn't hold your hand and tell you everything you need to know right from the get-go. Instead, you'll have to figure out some stuff on your own. There are many secrets and locked areas in the world of Cvstodia that you'll need to reach and the bells that you see all over the world are connected to these.
The bells are pretty much a key mechanic in the game and you will get to use them very early on. However, depending on your choice of weapons, you won't be able to activate the bells.
Below, we'll explain in detail what you need to do to use these bells and what is their purpose in this action platformer from Team 17.
How to use bells in Blasphemous 2?
To activate the bells, you need the flail-like weapon called Veredicto. If you picked this powerful tool to be your starting weapon, you won't have a problem activating the bells as all you need to do is hit them to reveal platforms that you can use to get across big gaps and traps.
If you didn't start with Veredicto, you can find this weapon in Sacred Entombments. To get there, start from the City of the Blessed Name, climb up the first ladder, up the roofs and another ladder to reach the Aqueduct of the Costales. From there, climb up to the top and keep going left until you get to Sacred Entombments.
If that's too complicated for you, here's a screenshot of the exact location of Veredicto in Sacred Entombments.
With that, our guide on how to use bells comes to an end. If this was helpful, feel free to check out more Blasphemous 2 guides below.
