As an extraction shooter, looting and crafting with materials is a major part of the game's progression. After collecting rare items from your expedition, you have to use them to upgrade different personal equipment.
One of these pieces of equipment/establishments in the game is your little rooster, Scrappy. To upgrade Scrappy, you need to get mushrooms and olives; here's a guide on how you can find them in ARC Raiders.
How to Get Mushrooms and Olives in Arc Raiders
Mushrooms and olives are two of the most important items in Arc Raiders. Both items are important to upgrade Scrappy to the max level.
First up are mushrooms; you can find the small fruit in damp places. The best map for finding mushrooms in-game is the Dam Battlegrounds map. They can be found in places with deep vegetation. You can find them attached to trees; just head to the trees, and you can pick them off to keep in your stash. Here are the most probable spawns of mushrooms in Dam Battlegrounds:
Aside from that, you can find mushrooms in the little forest area in front of the Little Hangar POI in the Spaceport map. However, your best bet at finding mushrooms is visiting the Dam Battlegrounds map.
Moving on to Olives, you can find this fruit in the Olive Grove POI in the Blue Gate map. There are many Olive trees in that area, and you'll find many solo players in that area looking for olives to upgrade Scrappy. Here's a look at the exact location of Olive Grove in the Blue Gate:
When looking for olives in Olive Grove, make sure to kick the trees, as it can give you extra fruits for future projects, or you can sell them for a hefty amount of credit.
If you're still struggling to find Mushrooms and Olives out in the open, try waiting for the Lush Blooms map condition to go live on any of the maps. Once it goes live, drop into any of the maps and look for baskets and small crates lying around trees, buildings, and in residential areas. Opening these boxes and crates can give you a large portion of natural resources, including mushrooms and olives.
