Arc Raiders is a newly released extraction shooter from Embark Studios. The new game is slowly shaping up to become the best shooter of this year, with a record number of players jumping into the game every day.
As an extraction shooter, the concept of progression wipe is solemnly attached to Arc Raiders. The progression wipe in-game is called Expedition Project, and here's an in-depth look at every item you'll need to progress towards the end of an expedition project.
What is the Expedition Project in Arc Raiders?
According to Embark, the progression wipe system in Arc Raiders will be known as "The Expedition Project". In the full game, players will have access to a feature called “Projects.” Unlocked at level 20, the first major project players will have access to is the Expedition Project.
Upon completion, this project makes a character reset available. If a player completes a reset, they will be able to do so again so long as they complete another of these projects. This progression wipe is voluntary and will only affect players who choose to go through with the project.

The Expedition Project will run in a cycle of about 8 weeks. During these eight weeks, players can contribute to and progress on their Expedition Project, which will require a significant time investment. Here's a complete list of everything you need for the Expedition Project in Arc Raiders:

- Once everything is managed, you have to wait for the Departure window to open.
Initially, the benefits of a progression wipe will centre around cosmetics & bragging rights, quality of life, and smoothing out some aspects of progression for those who have gone through a reset. The Expedition Window will be open from 17th December and last until 22nd December. You must sign up during this period, and everyone automatically departs at the same time on the 22nd.
