As for the grenade, we're looking at a seriously fun concept - it sends a huge impulse that blows players away. Literally. It doesn't seem to be doing any actual damage, it just hurls players away.
The 'nade has blue rarity and will only be found in treasure chests and supply drops. Honestly, I'd have given an arm and a leg to have had this beauty in many lost encounters against turtling cowards, or as they're more commonly known - better players.
The devs are adding shrines as well, which will be hidden across the map and pack plenty of goodies for those who find them. The Fortnite team says that the shrines are thematic, although we're unsure as to what that means. Either way, when it comes to Fortnite - more is better.

There are some corrections in drop rates as well, with players less likely to get crossbows, miniguns and chug jugs by 20, 12.5 and 15 percent respectively. The standard SMG is getting the boot, although the tactical SMG is getting some love with a magazine size increase to 35 bullets and a firing rate buff.
Scoped assault rifles will now be one hundred percent accurate when scoped, even though the devs nerfed its headshot damage from 250 to 200 percent. Also, revolvers will now be using medium amo.
Fortnite is picking up serious speed with every passing update and this one seems no different. We expect to see plenty of impulse nade goofiness online and to be honest - we can't wait, because the potential for hilarity is most certainly there.
