Forza Horizon 4 and BBC's beloved car show Top Gear have partnered up to bring a special crossover event to Playground Games' racer. Players will be able to dress up as The Stig and presenter Chris Harris will lend his voice for the story.
Playground Games have released a fresh update for their racer Forza Horizon 4. In the Update 11, the devs traditionally added new Season Events, Trails, exclusive cars and a bunch of other content for all speed devils.
However, the biggest addition is the new crossover event with BBC's popular car show Top Gear. Playground Games and BBC partnered up to bring exclusive, Top Gear themed content to Forza Horizon series for the first time ever. Top Gear was a regular guest in other Forza series like Motosport, but it never appeared in Horizon series.
Update 11 arrives today - 03 July 2019 and it adds new Horizon Story series of challenges in addition to three new Top Gear-inspired vehicles and more. Players will be able to dress up their in-game character as the legendary Stig and presenter Chris Harris will lend his voice in the Horizon Story.
Completing the Top Gear Horizon Special will unlock the “I am The Stig” T-shirt, The Stig Race Suit, as well as three new vehicles - the Top Gear Project E-AT, the Top Gear Track-Tor and the Mercedes Benz G63 6x6 Sports Utility Truck, a beauty you can see below.
Furthermore, Update 11 also brings some other changes to the game. Playground Games added class-based Rivals which will allow you to build the perfect hot-lapping machine for each class and each route in the game, along with an associated leaderboard to dominate. These are added alongside the existing curated events.
Action House prices for many cars will now fluctuate based on sales, up to 20 million credits. This system is added to monitor which cars sell quickly and allow the rise of the maximum prices over time. The maximum price for cars that do not sell quickly will fall over time, with the goal of reaching a pricing equilibrium.
