Max Payne, F.E.A.R and other franchises have been added to Xbox backwards compatibility today.
As rumours suggested, Xbox have dropped a fresh batch of backwards compatible games including the leaked titles Max Payne, Dead or Alive and F.E.A.R.
The list includes a total of 70 new additions and 37 FPS boosted titles. Every original Xbox or Xbox 360 game that was added to the backwards compatibility program today, will support Auto HDR on Xbox Series X|S and original Xbox games will feature a resolution increase, too, which is certainly a neat little addition that will improve the visual quality of the games.
Xbox say they bumped the resolution up to 4x on Xbox Series X and Xbox One X, a 3x increase on Xbox Series S and a 2x increase on Xbox One S and Xbox One consoles.
You can check out the full list of newly added backwards compatible Xbox games here.
Xbox have also confirmed that this will be the final addition of games to the backwards compatibility program so don't expect to get more original Xbox and Xbox 360 games on Xbox Series X|S.
That being said, the library of Xbox backwards compatible games is certainly impressive and an incredible push from the development team to make these games playable on new hardware.
This is something that Xbox players will certainly appreciate.
