Four new games are available to download and play on Xbox through Free Play Days this week.
Players can download Fallout 76, For Honor, Dead by Daylight and Grounded 2 starting on Thursday, January 29 and play the games until Sunday, February 1 on Xbox consoles, no Xbox Game Pass required.
Fallout 76 and For Honor will stay unlocked until February 5 for those who want to play longer than Free Play Days lasts.
Free Play Days titles
- Fallout 76
- For Honor
- Dead by Daylight
- Grounded 2
All four games are available to play for free this weekend. Should you choose to buy any of the games afterward, your progress will transfer over.
How to Access Free Play Days
There are two ways to begin downloading your games:
- Navigate to each game’s page on Xbox.com, then install through the Microsoft Store
- Launch the Xbox Store app on console, head to the Subscriptions tab, and scroll until you see Free Play Days on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S
You’ll need to be logged into your Xbox account to view the option to install for free, but you don’t need a Game Pass subscription to take advantage of Free Play Days.
Discounts Available During the Event
Each title is also discounted for the duration of the event. This means that once your trial period is up, you can pick back up right where you left off. Savings will differ from game to game and by region, but you will maintain:
- Gamerscore
- Achievements
- Progress / Unlocks
Dead by Daylight is also discounting select DLC packs for the game. As for For Honor, you can grab it for pretty cheap right now.
