After a strong launch on Game Pass, The Gunk will release on Steam and other PC platforms this Spring.
The Gunk publisher Thunderful have confirmed that their recently released Xbox exclusive will be coming to Steam and other PC storefronts very soon.
The Gunk is currently available on Xbox and PC via the Xbox app due to its day-one launch on Xbox Game Pass. This Spring, though, players will be able to purchase the game on Steam and we assume Epic Games Store and perhaps GOG, though, Thuderful did not reveal the names of these other PC stores, so this is just a guess.
Additionally, the game will be receiving a Photo Mode as well as support for several new languages.
Both will be included in the game's new release this Spring.

Thundeful say that The Gunk''s release on Game Pass was a massive success, attracting many players. "Following The Gunk's release on Xbox Game Pass in December 2021 as part of Thunderful strong ongoing partnership with Xbox, Thundeful are pleased to report that the title's launch has been a big success, engaging hundreds of thousands of players," they wrote in the blog post.
The Gunk is available now on PC and Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game is also on Game Pass both PC and Xbox.
