Titans in Destiny 2 are a punch-happy bunch that just prefers to forego the regular weapons at times. One would think the idea would be different with Raid bosses but a certain item allowed these melee enthusiasts to just punch their way through the most challenging PvE content.
Namely, Wormgod Caress Exotic gauntlets work somewhat similarly to Kill Clip on weapons, except there is no reload involved. Killing an enemy with melee or melee ability increases all melee damage for a period of time and stacking melee kills increases the damage bonus. However, the bug caused the gloves to not lose the bonus after said time which caused Titans to deal extraordinary melee damage without having to stack it up first on the likes of thralls.
As a result, by the time they reached a boss, these Titans would have stacked up enormous amounts of melee damage bonuses that they would just toss their hammers around and down the bosses in no time.
Bungie are currently working to fix these gauntlets but they have disabled the item in the meantime. If you hoped to bypass the block with your old Armor 1.0 version, don't hold your breath - both 1.0 and 2.0 versions have been disabled.
While Titans are causing issues in Destiny 2, fires are doing so in real life. Bungie remain aware of this issue as well and are to aid the organisations that are helping curb the damage caused by the fires in Australia. Fans will be able to pre-order Destiny merchandise from 16 January 2020 with all the proceeds being split between and .
