According to recent reports, all operator and weapon skins from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be transferred to the upcoming title, Modern Warfare 3.
Despite initial expectations of a 2-year cycle, Activision's decision to release MW3 in 2023, developed by Sledgehammer Games, has raised concerns among players about having to start anew with weapon and operator customization.
However, players can now rejoice as their beloved MW2 skins will seamlessly carry over to the highly anticipated MW3, ensuring continuity and familiarity in the gaming experience.
Recent leaks by BobNetworkUK on Twitter have revealed that all operator and weapon skins from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will carry over to the upcoming title, Modern Warfare 3.
These leaks were further supported by the presence of MW2 weapons in leaked photos of the MW3 weapon roster. This means that players will have access to their current weapon pool, operators, and skins right from the start in MW3, easing the weapon grind and allowing them to build on their collection.
Call of Duty also confirmed this rumor through a poll on Twitter, asking players if they would like their MW2 content to carry forward into the new Call of Duty game in 2023.
This move has been well-received by players, indicating positive changes in the upcoming title.
