Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, serving as a direct sequel to the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot. Following the formation of Task Force 141, the game sends players across a globe-trotting campaign tackling a Mexican cartel with dangerous ties to a rogue Iranian general — a story that's flashy and cinematic if not particularly subtle.

The campaign received solid praise for its variety and occasional willingness to experiment, whilst multiplayer launched to a more mixed reception, with controversial map design and the absence of fan-favourite modes frustrating the community at launch. Warzone 2.0 and DMZ launched alongside it, expanding the package considerably.
