Cyberpunk 2077 may be delayed but that doesn't mean we can't have nice things. One of them is Night City Wire, which will have its first episode on June 25, 2020 and show more gameplay.
According to CD Projekt Red, the first episode of Night City Wire will feature gameplay, a new trailer and a chat with the developers about one of the features, called Braindance. It will kick off on Thursday, at 6:00 PM CEST / 9:00 AM PT and fans will be able to watch the stream on CDPR's official Twitch channel .
In case you are not familiar with Braindance, it is a type of virtual reality in the world of Cyberpunk, which is often used for recreation but also psychology. This type of treatment is one of the key elements of recovering from Cyberpsychosis, in fact. The devs confirmed we won't be able to modify V to the point of suffering Cyberpsychosis so we will likely skip the psychological part of Braindance.
One interesting point from the tweet announcing Night City Wire's date and time is that CDPR noted this is "the first, 25 minute episode", hinting that we are in for more presentations like this. Whether these will be weekly, monthly or have a regular schedule at all remains to be seen.
Then again, with Cyberpunk 2077 releasing in November 2020, we will need something to fill our time in and these episodes seem like the perfect thing to keep the hype up.
Let's keep our fingers crossed they don't postpone the game 91 days from release again.
