According to the latest reports, the updated Erangel map could arrive to PUBG Mobile sometime in December 2019 along with glass windows and new items.
Earlier this year, PUBG Corp. introduced , a refreshed and improved version of the original PUBG map. The update brought Erangel more in line with these new maps adding new buildings, structures, changes to the terrain and overall graphical enhancements such as sharper textures and new models.
At the moment, Erangel 2.0 is available only on the PC platform but according to the latest reports, PUBG Mobile players could join the PC community in getting a chance to battle out on the new map. According to News18, TS Jang, executive producer at PUBG Corp. showcased a quick video and said that the new version of the map will be launched soon.
Furthermore, the report claims that according to their info, this might just happen in December 2019. Apparently, the new map will arrive in the update 0.16.0, which is scheduled to drop shortly after 0.15.0 update that brings a new Team Deathmatch map and MPK5 submachine gun.
Along with the new map, the update 0.16.0 will also introduce several other features to PUBG Mobile. One of these new features are glass windows, that have been a part of the PC game since the very beginning. Glass windows are basically a signal that someone has been in the house or if you hear the sound of the broken glass, it means that someone is nearby. New skins and costumes are also coming in the new update, including Halloween themed items.
PUBG Corp. are yet to officially announce these additions, but if the release date is indeed correct, it shouldn't take long before we get the first details.
