Tencent Games definitely delivered PUBG Mobile's 0.10.0 version in style as the update comes with a deviously funny trailer that features a sparrow, a hand grenade and a freshly offed PUBG Mobile player. Spoiler alert, the bird lives.

The trailer you see above is actually Vikendi's announcement trailer from the beginning of December but it's really worth seeing. We're sure you'll learn to appreciate the sparrow's affinity towards explosives, although we're not sure that the poor sod lying in the snow shares the sentiment.

PUBG Mobile's new map is set in Slovenia, with the snowy terrain providing different opportunities for hunters and the hunted. We're talking about a map 6 square kilometers in size, which should fill the gap between the likes of Sanhok and Erangel or Miramar.

As you probably know, Sanhok spans 4 square kilometers and more often than not ends up with, ahem, intimate encounters. Erangel and Miramar's 8 kilometers, on the other hand, mean you'll crawl a bit longer before getting sniped so Vikendi should provide good middle ground.

PUBG Mobile players will be using the snowy environment to both track their prey and lure their hunters into traps. The tracks don't stay there forever though, so it's only close tracking scenarios.

The map has got plenty of points of interest, including the most obvious one - the Cosmodrome. Its supposed top loot quality is of course likely to make it one of PUBG Mobile's most visited locations, so land at your own peril.

It didn't take long for Tencent and PUBG Corp to follow up on the PC version, which got Vikendi on the live servers, after two weeks of testing. Console versions of PUBG's snowy map are currently undergoing testing on the game's test servers so mobile users are a bit ahead.

Much like its PC counterpart, PUBG Mobile's Vikendi map comes with a new vehicle - the snowmobile. It's a two seat vehicle much like Sanhok's scooter, except for the fact that it loves snow and ice. Along with the scooter comes a Vikendi-exclusive weapon the G36C, which uses 5.56mm ammo.
