Nacon's action game set in World of Darkness, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, has received a new gameplay trailer, showcasing the three forms of Cahal, which will be instrumental in your war against Endron.
Cahal, the protagonist of Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, will have three main forms at his disposal to deal with the obstacles and threats on his mission to deal with Endron, the corporation that is ruining the environment.
Environment-conscious werewolves might throw you off a bit, but it is friendly to the lore of World of Darkness where these canids are described as the immune system of the planet. While vampires might want to integrate into human society and keep the Masquerade up, the werewolves are recluses and are trying to preserve nature.
As such, the Endron corporation is their enemy by default due to the aforementioned reasons. They also employ mercenaries and high-tech tools to preserve their interests so Cahal will have to deal with these threats through stealth, cunning and brute strength.
Stealth is embodied with the Lupus form, which basically looks like large but otherwise regular wolf. It can be used for exploration and infiltration but it is complemented by the Homid, or human form, which is used for stealth takedowns and hacking into the enemy defences.
Should things turn south, there is always the hulking Crinos form. You turn into a werewolf and this is the form you will be using for combat.
While three forms offer a nice set of choices about going through the world, the Crinos form also has three stances that have previously been showcased in another gameplay video .
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is set for release on February 4, 2021, on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
