Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 continues to blow us away with its visual presentation. This hack-and-slash shooter from Saber Interactive has just got another eight minutes of gameplay where we got to see more of the brutal combat, shooting and just chaotic battle moments that made our jaw drop.
A glut of gameplay footage shows Titus and allies tackling the swarming Tyranid threat. The hordes of enemies on the screen and just the sheer detail of the environments make Space Marine 2 one of the best-looking games we've seen so far in this generation along with Hexworks' fantasy RPG Lords of the Fallen.
Obviously, the looks aren't everything so it's great that Space Marine 2 combat and movement also look great. We'll have to wait for the actual release to see just how well the game feels but judging from what we've got so far from the trailers, this could be one of the major positive surprises of 2023.
We sincerely hope that Space Marine 2 finds its audience as the second part of the year is absolutely jam-packed with releases like Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2 and more.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 does not have a release date at the moment but the developer have confirmed that the game should launch sometime in late 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
