The reviews for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are already out and we must notice that they're very mixed. Some believe the game is a real masterpiece (us included; read our review here to find out), while others go so far that they consider the game one of the year's greatest flops.
However, as they say, the numbers never lie, so today the statistics on the famous SteamDB page revealed that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 peaked at an unbelievable 134,302 players, which might seem like a not-so-significant achievement, but considering that the game is yet to be released, it is really impressive.
We gave the game a top rating, and it stands out as one of the few that truly delivers on its promises—offering thrilling action, stunning graphics, and loads of fun, especially in co-op mode.
To play Space Marine 2 early and join over 1.3 million players on Steam, you’ll need to purchase the Gold Edition. This edition includes the base game, a Season Pass, and 4-day early access. There's also a standard pre-order edition, which doesn’t offer early access, and a higher-priced Ultra Edition that provides all the Gold Edition benefits along with the Ultramarines Champions Pack.
As we already mentioned, for all those who don't wish to pay extra money, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on September 9, 2024, and once it is out, it will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
