What do you get when you pack a bunch of madness and pump it full of steroids and cybernetics? Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters' next roster addition.

One of the most devastating units of the Imperium is coming to Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters as a piece of the assassin set from the Execution Force DLC.

Complex Games took extra steps to once again conform to the rich lore of Warhammer 40K as they presented the Eversor assassin unit.

Out of the four temples, Eversor produces what are the easily most brutal units as their assassins are a product of drugs, madness and pure thirst for blood and violence.

The process of creating this one-man army involves pumping humans full of drugs that induce bloodlust but also enhance their capabilities beyond the limits of the human body.

They also have a ton of cybernetic augments and gear to help them keep up with the drug-induced murderous madness but these measures only manage to slow down the body's quickened wear and tear.

As such, Eversor assassins are kept in cryo storage between missions in order to prevent them from expiring too fast and this is the part that the trailer for Daemonhunters simply nailed.

In the deployment screen where the commander chooses the squad's loadout, the assassin is not standing by the Grey Knights. Instead, there is a cryo pod for them, which is perfectly in sync with the aforementioned lore. Now it only remains to be seen how destructive they will be on the battlefield.
