Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters caught some flak for the Twitch promotion campaign and the devs will alleviate these problems in a future update.
Those interested in playing Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters found themselves disheartened when they learned there was exclusive gear Grey Knights could wear but to do so, the player would have to spend hours on Twitch streams instead of enjoying the game itself.
The promotion required owners of Daemonhunters to watch promoted Twitch streams, some of which ended up derailing instead of playing the game, which resulted in a lot of frustration among the player base.
Complex Games and Frontier Foundry addressed the players' concerns, stating that they will make all items from every Twitch drop campaign available to all players during one of the updates that are coming in May 2022. Since one-third of the month has already passed, the update can't be too far away.
That said, players will probably have finished the game by the time the update arrives which will take away some value from it. If any fans are planning on replaying the campaign soon after finishing it, they are likely to have these additional items at their disposal, possibly enriching the experience.
In any case, we are all getting the loot but we will have to stick without it for the time being.
Now if only the loot featured actual armour that could protect a grey knight from the equivalent of a campfire, that would be great. It's no fun having them out of commission for weeks on end.
