1C Game Studios launched the New Horizons Marathon event in Caliber on July 19, 2023, and it will run for three weeks, until August 16, 2023.
In a nutshell, you win matches to earn Tokens, which will later be used to purchase cosmetics. You can also earn Tickets to multiply the number of Tokens won by five.
You can earn up to three Tickets for daily objectives and up to six for weekly objectives. They are automatically redeemed after a win, no matter which mode you play.
Farming Tokens and how to use Tickets efficiently
The mode of choice is important because wasting Tickets on a Point Sweep win will result in only 50 Tokens. If you win a Threshold match while holding a Ticket, you will get 500 Tokens.
Token earning rate per mode is as follows:
- Point Sweep - 10
- Onslaught Veteran - 15
- Frontline, Special Operation, Showdown, Annihilation - 25
- Onslaught Legend - 45
- Threshold - 100
What to spend Tokens on
They are the currency that can be redeemed in the Marathon Armory, where you can use them to get the new skins for GROM or any other offerings you see there, such as 50,000 Credits, random cosmetics, backgrounds, executions and more.
Additional rewards
Winning in and completing objectives in Threshold will give you rating points.
There are multiple milestones at which you will be given rewards based on points earned:
- 100 points - Army Surplus container
- 300 points - Participant emblem
- 500 points - 100,000 Credits
Top 1,000 players will earn even more rewards.
