Complex Games and Frontier Foundry came up with big news for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters in more than one way.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters is coming out on May 5, 2022, and the launch will simultaneously happen on Steam and Epic Games Store.

In case you want to preorder the game, it's available on both storefronts as of the time of writing and while we generally suggest you don't preorder digital items, Daemonhunters does have its incentives. They come in the form of powerful relics that will probably come in handy when Nurgle's forces push at the Grey Knights.

The first one is Domina Liber Daemonica which is said to have the power to send daemons back into the Warp but there are currently no details on how this will work. Crys'yllix Daemonhammer is the other item that will come as a preorder bonus, allowing you to bonk the uglies into oblivion, just like it was done with the Lord of Change .

Besides the release date and preoder bonuses, the big news included the announcement that Andy Serkis will be lending his voice to Grand Master Verdan Kai, who will advise players from their citadel on Titan and provide support to the Grey Knights through requisition requests for reinforcements, armour and weaponry.

According to Serkis, Kai is highly authoritative and has a dislike for those he thinks he can't trust. That said, the Grand Master does have a growing relationship with the player throughout the game and will likely be of immense help as we clear various worlds of Nurgle's corruption.
