Nintendo Switch is dominating UK physical sales chart for the week ending on 19 October 2019 thanks to The Witcher 3, Mario Kart Deluxe 8 and Ring Fit Adventure.
Nintendo's portable console Switch is one of the biggest winners on this week's UK physical sales chart thanks to two new titles that released on the platform. Geralt's adventure The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and fitness title Ring Fit Adventure helped Switch secure the Top 10 along with some other, older titles such as Minecraft Switch Edition and Mario Kart Deluxe 8.
This means that four Switch titles managed to enter Top 10 for a total takeover. And while Nintendo will certainly be happy with that, EA Sports' FIFA 20 once again topped the chart, marking a fifth consecutive week on the throne. Switch version of FIFA 20 accounts for 5 per cent of this week's sales.
CD Projekt Red's iconic RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt landed at No.4 and it sold exactly the same amount as Skyrim did in its debut week. Despite big sale numbers, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was not the best-selling Switch title last week. That honour goes to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, rising from solid No.3 to No.2 with a 10 per cent boost in sales. It's safe to say that the kart racer has been one of the most consistent performers for the console with more than one million lifetime sales in the UK.
EA's latest title Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville debuted at strong No.7 while Ubisoft's tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is in third place. Here is the full Top 10 UK physical sales chart for the week ending on 19 October 2019.

Keep in mind that the list only includes physical sales of the games, not digital, which can be a bit misleading since most of the game purchases in 2019 are digital.
