Developer Saber Interactive has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Turok: Origins, the first taste of gameplay we’ve seen for the upcoming reboot of the dinosaur-slaying franchise.
Combat, online co-op, and the Lost Lands are all featured in the new trailer leading up to the game’s Fall 2026 release date.
Turok: Origins will not be a direct sequel to any of the previous games but will feature both first and third-person gameplay as players unravel a new narrative that follows the battle for human survival against dinosaurs and aliens.
The new gameplay trailer confirms players can take on enemies both solo and with friends with online co-op.Players assume the role of the Order of the Turok, warriors that serve to defend humanity.
You’ll fight dinosaurs, enemy aliens, and gigantic bosses throughout diverse environments such as jungles, ancient ruins, and alien landscapes. Along the way you can upgrade a large arsenal of weapons like bows, shotguns, plasma rifles, and alien weapons.
You can also upgrade your Turok skills by finding Echoes to customize your fighting abilities.Online cooperative gameplay is one of the new additions to Turok. Not only will you be able to experience the campaign with a friend but also take on huge monsters and large scale firefights.
Turok: Origins is expected to launch later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. You can wishlist the game on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store already.
