The Settlers will be launching on March 17, 2022, for PC while the closed beta is starting on January 20, 2022.
Ubisoft's real-time strategy has got a release date. The Settlers reboot will be launching on March 17, 2022, the publisher announced in the latest gameplay video titled "Welcome to The Settlers". The video introduces players to some of the basic gameplay mechanics in the game and showcases gorgeous cartoony graphics that the series is known for.
Ubisoft also confirmed that they will be hosting a closed beta test for The Settlers starting on January 20 until January 24, 2022. You can register for the closed beta via Ubisoft's website. The beta is available via both Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect storefronts on PC.

The Settlers will be launching on the PC platform only. Ubisoft say this new take on the series is a reimagined and legendary build-up with "new features and stunning graphics." We can agree that the game looks pretty, but The Settlers franchise was always quite the looker thanks to its unique art style.
We are more interested in gameplay depth and what are some of these new features that the publisher are promising. There are some glimpses of that in the gameplay trailer above but until we get to play it, we'll reserve our judgment.
