Obsidian Entertainment have revealed first DLC for their RPG The Outer Worlds. Named Peril on Gorgon, the expansion will be the first of two narrative DLCs and it's coming in September 2020.
Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment have announced an expansion for The Outer Worlds on yesterday's Xbox Games Showcase event. It one of the projects that Obsidian are working on right now since the developer also showcased Avowed, their brand new AAA open-world RPG game.
The DLC for The Outer Worlds is named Peril on Gorgon and it is the first of two narrative DLCs. Here is how Obsidian describe the expansion: "Peril on Gorgon adds a substantial amount of content to the game’s darkly humorous universe with a brand new noir-tinged adventure that takes players to the Gorgon Asteroid to investigate the mysterious origin of Adrena-Time. While there, you’ll find new weapons and armor, perks, flaws, and the same freedom to approach your problems that made the original game so rewarding."
The DLC requires the base game and you'll also need to progress past Monarch to access the content. It is coming on September 9 to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for £11.99. It will also be avalialb on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
