Fans have been speculating about what Obsidian Entertainment would do with the sci-fi RPG title since the first game’s success. As with the original, Obsidian is doubling down on corporate humor and quirky DLC.
The main difference between the two is a few digital bonuses that provide players with cosmetic vanity and some gameplay advantages straight away. If you pre-order you can also start earlier with each bonus unlock depending on which edition you purchase.
This is where choosing between Standard and Premium makes a difference. If you are undecided on which edition to pick up, here is a complete list of all The Outer Worlds 2 pre-order bonuses and editions to help you decide what suits your style and budget.
The Outer Worlds 2 Pre-Order Bonuses
All pre-orders of The Outer Worlds 2 include Commander Zane’s Anti-Monopolistic Battle Pack, a content pack that features:
- Zane-themed armor
- Pet drone companion
- Pistol
- Dagger
If you purchase the Premium Edition, you will unlock five days of early access to the game ahead of the Standard Edition and Game Pass players.
This bonus is an incentive for players to opt for the more expensive version to gain access to the mysterious Halcyon system and explore its planets ahead of time.
