Gunner specialisation will be extremely useful to LMG fans even if they don't like the signature weapon that much. The reason for this is the Large Pouch talent that will add 50 bullets to the players' belt-fed lead spitter. This means the chronically troubled MG5 will finally be able to have over 100 bullets in its pouch, likely making it one of the most overpowered weapons in the process.
Another interesting and powerful bit of the Gunner is the specialisation's modification to armour kits. It is a straight up upgrade, as opposed to being a modification like on Sharpshooter, Survivalist or Demolitionist. The talent will cause the armour kit to refill the armour bar as per usual but also add 50 per cent bonus armour for 10 seconds which should make it perfect for bum-rushing pesky snipers in PvP or facetanking PvE enemies for a fraction of a second longer.
If these bonuses didn't make the Gunner irresistible for you yet, what about flushing out those cheating AI out of their cover that they hug the moment your crosshairs connect with them? Banshee will be a modification to Pulse that will go through cover and confuse any enemies hit, leaving easy pickings for your machineguns that would otherwise suppress the enemy immediately.
Incessant is a talent that will regenerate five per cent armour on kill, making it invaluable in PvE. So far, the Gunner looks like a fantastic addition to PvE and will probably outperform other specialisations for a while.

One could be wondering which weapon damage bonuses the Gunner would entail which brings us to the next big thing happening with the next Division 2 update - players will be able to choose which weapon class will get the damage bonuses from talents, regardless of the specialisation they chose.
Thefore, you will finally be able to have Sharpshooters with SMG or Assault Rifle damage bonuses and will not be locked to Rifles that are considered to be the weakest of the bunch.
You can check out the rest of on Reddit, but we believe we already explained all the highlights.
