League of Legends - TCS 2018

League of Legends World Championship 2018 has recently concluded, proving it was probably the most exciting Worlds so far. The excitement stands to be reignited soon, once Tyler1 Championship Series starts with some of the biggest NA names.

Tyler "Tyler1" Steinkamp is an infamous-turned-famous League of Legends streamer who went from being permanently banned for toxicity, over reforming to playing in a Riot Games showmatch. He is set to raise the bar with Tyler1 Championship Series 2018 though, which will likely be the biggest incarnation of the tournament he has been running for years now.

So far, participants of TCS counted big names from North American streamer and former pro scene, such as imaqtpie, Shiphtur and Voyboy. It seems like many big names will appear this year too, as the Tyler1 posted boasts high profile memers Hashinshin and Trick2G.

TCS 2018 trailer garners a lot of attention it seems, as it has been watched over 312.000 times in less than 24 hours. With Godyr and Supertop themselves casting the event, it could prove to be another record breaker on Twitch once it starts.

Speaking of which, TCS 2018 should commence on 24 November 2018, while the finals will kick off on 01 December 2018. Contrary to what the trailer states, TCS 2018 will not start in the spring of the same year, as Tyler1 has not discovered time travel, yet. Prize  pool will start at $10.000 but it is not fixed and may prove to be higher by the end of the event.

While not officially a Riot Games event, TCS 2018 is looking primed to be one of the most watched League of Legends tournaments this year.

Just like before, TCS 2018 will consist of teams made of high profile North American players. There will be a total of eight teams, meaning at least 40 big names will make an appearance, not necessarily linked with their pro teams.
