During today's Forspoken live stream, Square Enix shared a glimpse of the upcoming prequel DLC named In Tanta We Trust, which is scheduled to launch this Summer.
Square Enix have shared ten seconds of "gameplay" from Forspoken's first DLC named In Tanta We Trust. In case you haven't heard about the DLC, Square Enix did announce this one as a prequel story a while back.
In Tanta We Trust is set to launch sometime this Summer for PlayStation 5 and PC according to Square Enix and that's pretty much everything we know about this one so far. The footage that Square Enix shared today doesn't reveal much since it's way too short but it does look like players will get to explore an entirely new location. Whether Frey returns as a protagonist, it remains to be seen.
The new location is very rocky with what appears to be a massive tree in the middle of the field. Check it out for yourself in the screenshot below or Square Enix's stream here (1:04:18).
Forspoken DLC In Tanta We Trust is part of the game's Deluxe Edition but can also be purchased separately. The Deluxe Edition comes with early access to the DLC, though. In addition to that, Forspoken's Deluxe Edition includes Mini Artbook and Mini Soundtrack.
Forspoken is set to launch on January 24, 2023, for PlayStation 5 and PC. If you're not familiar with the game, Square Enix explain it as a parkour action RPG focused on spell combat. Forspoken was originally announced as Project Athia with a stunning trailer that looked much better than the actual game demo on PlayStation 5 , which caused some controversy online.
