Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn has finally revealed the look of his superhero character in Mortal Kombat. McFarlane shared several photos of the new Mortal Kombat Spawn action figure and also revealed 08 March 2020 as a release date.
Mortal Kombat 11 players have been anticipating superhero Spawn for several months now and by the looks of it, the waiting is coming to an end pretty soon. Spawn creator, Todd McFarlane has shared some exciting new images and details regarding Spawn appearance in Mortal Kombat 11.
As you can see in the tweet below, McFarlane shared the first look at "Mortal Kombat Spawn" action figure, which should start hitting the shelves sometime after the character officially arrives to the game's fighter roster.
It is safe to say Spawn looks pretty awesome and it will fit perfectly into a dark and brutal world of Mortal Kombat. He also comes with a big sword for slicing up Scorpion, Raiden, Johnny Cage and the rest of the gang.
The release date for Spawn is set for 08 March 2020 according to a tease from the official Mortal Kombat 11 Twitter. "Amazing figure? Absolutely! Kombat proven? We’ll see on 3/8," Mortal Kombat Twitter replied to the original tweet, suggesting that Spawn will finally become available in the game on 08 March 2020 for those who own the Kombat Pack DLC.
Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack DLC already introduced several new characters including The Joker, The Terminator, Sindel and Nightwolf. Spawn will be the last DLC character in the first pack. We expect to see another fighter DLC in 2020, but NetherRealm are yet to officially announce it.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
