Eldest Souls looks like a cool little game for the fans of From Software studio, who brought us Dark Souls, Bloodborne and are set to release Elden Ring, the long-awaited action RPG, which was also an inspiration for the name of Eldest Souls.
This indie title from small dev team Fallen Flag Studios is launching later this month and today, the publisher United Label have dropped a brand new trailer for the game, showcasing some of the brutal combat that awaits us when Eldest Souls launches. Check it out in its full glory below:
Eldest Souls anime-inspired trailer
Pretty neat, right? Eldest Souls developers promise ferocious, fast-paced combat inspired by Dark Souls games. Players will also get to fight against a series of uniquely challenging bosses and meet intriguing NPCs during their questlines.
All of that is made in a gorgeous pixel art visual style as you can see from the trailer.
All in all, Eldest Souls certainly looks like a nice little title that can scratch that Souls gameplay itch while we wait for From Software's next big thing called Elden Ring.
Eldest Souls is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on July 29, 202
