According to the latest leaks, The Elder Scrolls VI could feature survival mechanics and a "Rune Drawing" system for implementing and crafting new magic spells/abilities.
It's gonna be a while before we hear the first proper details from Bethesda regarding the highly-anticipated RPG The Elder Scrolls VI. Bethesda's Pete Hines already hinted that the company will start talking about The Elder Scrolls VI "years from now" so we'll have to stay patient and simply wait for the official info.
And while we wait, at least there are leaks and rumours to hype things up and set unrealistic expectations, which ultimately lead to big disappointment. However, if you can take these unconfirmed reports with a dose of scepticism and just treat them as nothing more than rumours, then perhaps, they are worth checking out.
The latest rumour comes from Tiffany Treadmore , the leakers who accurately revealed some pretty big information in the past like the cancellation of E3 2020, and the Nintendo Direct event. The leakers claim that The Elder Scrolls VI will include "survival mechanics" and "Rune Drawing" feature that is basically a system for implementing and crafting new magic spells/abilities.

Of course, there's nothing surprising about these since Bethesda already implemented survival mechanics in their previous games such as Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. As for the "Rune Drawing" system, again, this is something that is expected for a game of such scope and certainly nothing out of the ordinary.
Still, it's nice that we got some details about the game but keep in mind that these are just rumours and far from official confirmation so please, take them with a grain of salt.
